Mission: Pinellas Diaspora Arts Project, Inc. (PDAP) strengthens the well-being of communities in Tampa Bay by expanding access to arts, technology, media, and civic exchange. We create opportunities for people of all ages to participate in creative and educational experiences in effort to inspire personal growth, community connection, and lifelong learning.
THE UNSEEN THREAD

There is a thread that stretches across time—invisible, yet unbreakable. Woven from silence, song, memory, and movement, it binds daughters to grandmothers, revolution to ritual, and the future to its origin.
THE UNSEEN THREAD exhibition honored the presence, power, and complexity of women across generations and cultures. Inspired by Tori Sampson’s Cadillac Crew, the show invited viewers to trace the fibers of identity, justice, and imagination. It was a celebration of the women who have shaped history quietly and loudly, and a declaration from those still shaping what is to come. Too often, women’s contributions are left out of the frame. The Unseen Thread centered them. – The Studio@620, Nov 1 – Nov 30, 2025. Presented in collaboration with the 2025 Tampa Bay Urban Futures Festival.

This year’s Urban Futures Festival https://tbuffest.com has truly been one for the books and it’s incredible to see how much PDAP has been able to not only directly support artists and changemakers, but has truly created tangible and fun pathways for folks of all ages to explore technology, culture, identity, art, and imagination without barriers.
They carve out opportunities for people to learn by doing, to play, to come together, to see themselves reflected, and to try things they may not otherwise have access to. – Conscious Community Connectors
